When someone is going through a difficult season, we can help them feel seen – and show up in a practical way.
Kindness in Motion began with an idea Shaun had at church: help people notice someone facing hardship and give them a way to help when they are not sure what to do.
Today, Kindness in Motion brings that idea to life by inviting our community to nominate individuals or families facing a significant challenge and contribute to a shared fund for local assistance.
Nomination window: November 1–December 11, 2026.
Thank you to everyone who has nominated someone in need of kindness and encouragement. Our team is prayerfully reviewing submissions and looks forward to sharing God’s love through Kindness in Motion.

Tell us about an individual or family in our local community who is going through a difficult season.
Community contributions help make financial assistance possible. Gifts are pooled for the program; donors do not select or earmark support for a particular person.
The Foundation reviews nominations using established criteria, including the circumstances described, the need for support, and how assistance could help. Awards depend on the funds available.
Selected recipients are contacted privately. The amount and form of assistance may vary based on the circumstances and available funds.
Individuals or families in our local community experiencing a significant hardship – such as illness, the death of a loved one, job loss, or another difficult life event – may be nominated.
A nomination helps the Foundation understand what someone is facing and what kind of support could be meaningful. Submitting a nomination does not guarantee assistance.
Your contribution helps our community turn care into action. Gifts are pooled to support selected individuals and families, based on the Foundation's review process and the funds available.
Nominations are reviewed privately by a limited group involved in the program. Please share only the information needed to explain the situation; do not submit medical records or other sensitive documents.
We will not share a recipient's name, photo, or personal story publicly without their permission. Public recognition is never required to receive assistance.
