We don’t want to preserve Shaun’s legacy. We want to multiply it.

Investing in the Next Generation of Servant Leaders.

Our mission is to invest in the next generation of Christ-like servant leaders and entrepreneurs through financial support, mentorship, relationships, service, and connection.

Through financial support, mentorship, meaningful relationships, community service, and connection, we champion young people who need someone to believe in their potential, help them discover and pursue their purpose, and equip them to lead by example, serve others, and multiply their impact.

  • The Shaun Duvall Legacy Scholars Program

The Foundation intends to select two emerging leaders each year: one Legacy Education Scholar and one Legacy Entrepreneur Fellow. Both receive financial investment and both enter the same 12-month Legacy Year.

  • Kindness in Motion

Inviting our community to nominate individuals or families facing a significant challenge and contribute to a shared fund for local assistance.

  • Legacy of Love Gala

The annual Gala is the Foundation’s primary fundraising and storytelling event.

God is the foundation.
Relationships are the method.
Servant leadership is what we develop.
Multiplication is the goal.

Why Shaun?

Shaun was a servant leader not because of a title, but because of how he lived.

Shaun’s story
  • Listen before leading.
  • Know the person and their why.
  • Lead by example.
  • Show up.
  • Champion the person who needs a little more help.
  • Use relationships to open doors and build community.
  • Point the glory back to God.

Two paths. One Legacy Year. One purpose.

Legacy Education Scholar

Graduating high-school senior through junior in college

Pursuing an approved postsecondary education or career-training pathway.

Legacy Entrepreneur Fellow

An emerging entrepreneur under age 35 with a defined business concept, written business plan, and meaningful early steps toward launch.

The money opens the door; the relational investment is the heart of the program.

The 12-Month Legacy Year

  1. June 1

    Begin With Their Story

Receiving an award is the beginning, not the conclusion.

  2. At the beginning of the Legacy Year

    Life of Value Inventory

The assessment is a tool for self-discovery and growth, not part of applicant selection or a performance score.

  3. Approximately every other month

    Legacy Coffee & Leadership

Six 1:1 conversations. Six different mentors. Selected for this particular person.

  4. Beginning, middle, and near the end

    Foundation Check-Ins

How are you? What are you learning? Who have you connected with? What do you need?

  5. Ideally in September or October

    Serve Together

To serve Him is to serve them.

  6. The following year’s Gala

    Return to the Gala

Where were you last June, and where are you now?

  7. May 1

    After the Legacy Year

The required commitment ends after the Legacy Year, but the relationship does not have to.

Officially Recognized. Rooted in Purpose.

We are grateful to share that The Shaun Duvall Legacy Foundation is officially recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt public charity.

Established to honor Shaun’s life and carry forward his heart for faith, relationships, and servant leadership, our Foundation is committed to investing in the next generation of leaders and showing up for individuals and families in our community.

Through your generosity, we can turn Shaun’s legacy of love and service into a lasting impact.

Love Like Jesus. Live Like Shaun.

  1. Someone believed in me.
  2. Someone invested in me.
  3. Someone listened to my story.
  4. Someone connected me.
  5. Someone showed up for me.
  6. Now it’s my turn.

Kindness in Motion

When someone is going through a difficult season, we can help them feel seen – and show up in a practical way.

Kindness in Motion began with an idea Shaun had at church: help people notice someone facing hardship and give them a way to help when they are not sure what to do.

Nomination window: November 1–December 11, 2026.
